Alice A. Jones

Alice A. Jones, 56, of Warren, died Saturday, November 21, 2009 at Forum Health - Trumbull Memorial Hospital. She was born August 15, 1953 in Toledo, the daughter of Joseph A. and Donalda K. (Crawford) Sokolowski.

Mrs. Jones graduated from Ashtabula High School. After moving to Warren, she worked as a cashier at Giant Eagle and, together with her husband, was apartment manager for Pamela Manor. A former poll worker for the Board of Elections, she enjoyed crocheting, reading, animals, and was a talented artist.

Surviving are her mother, Donalda Sokolowski of Ashtabula; her husband, Gary W. Jones, whom she married August 13, 1979; two sons, Jason U. and Garrison O. Jones, both of Warren; two sisters, Kathy and Devina Sokolowski, both of Ashtabula; and two brothers, John Sokolowski of Michigan and Walter Sokolowski of Ashtabula. Her father precedes her in death.

Services are private. Cremation is taking place.
