Albert "Sonny" Norton

WARREN - Albert "Sonny" Ross Norton, 78, passed quietly away on September 22, 2013 at his residence. He was born July 30, 1935 in East Palestine, son of the late John U. and Viola (Mazie) Norton.

Albert had worked for Niles Sanitation for many years. He was a veteran of the US Army. He was an avid collector.

Memories of Albert will be carried on by his wife, Rachel A. (Peters) Norton whom he married in 2000; son, Joseph Lee Norton of Florida; daughter, Shirley Mae Norton; son, Albert R. Norton, Jr.; son, John U. Norton; daughter, Viola Norton; daughter, Susan Marie Norton; son, Charles Lee Norton and son, Allan Scott Norton, all of South Carolina. He is also survived by his sister, Martha Booker of Beaver Falls, Pa, several grandchildren, plus many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Barbara Lee Fosnot, Charlotte Pegg, and Mary Ann Casey.
