Cleveland, OH - Albert "Buddy" Kokrak, 55 of Cleveland, OH, formerly of Warren, OH, passed away on Saturday March 3, 2012 at his residence of natural causes. He was born in Warren, OH on July 30th, 1956 the son of Albert J. and Mary Jane (Thumm) Kokrak.

Buddy was former owner of Master Dry Cleaning and was currently employed by the Cleveland Plain Dealer. He was a member of the the Living Word Church in Warren. A 1974 graduate of Warren G. Harding High School, he played on the football team and placed at the state tournament for wrestling. He attended The Ohio State University where he was member of Phi Delta Theta Fraternity. He enjoyed fishing, playing golf with his sons, watching his sons participate in sports,and always had a heart for the down and out.

Surviving are his mother, Mary Jane (Thumm) Kokrak, of Warren, sons James Kokrak of Pittsburgh, Barry and Bradley Burkey of Warren, the mother of his sons, Anne Quinn of Warren, and granddaughter, Joscelyn Burkey. Also surviving are his brother, Kenneth Kokrak of Warren, sisters Connie (Kent) McBeath of Las Vegas and, Karen (Don) Dunne of Hudson, OH. He was preceded in death by his father, Albert J. Kokrak.

Friends may call Wednesday, March 7, 2012 from 5:00 - 7:00 pm & Thursday, March 8, 2012 from 10:00 - 11:00 am. at the McFarland & Son Funeral Home. Services will be held at the Funeral Home, Thursday March 8, 2012 at 11:00 am.Interment will follow in the Hillside Cemetery, Cortland, OH. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to the Living Word Sanctuary at 375 North Park Avenue, Warren, OH 44481.
