Ada M. Van Van Cure

Ada Marie Van Cure, 80, of Warren, passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2005 at Trumbull Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Van Cure was born November 15, 1924 in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Benjamin and Garnet Nicholayson.

She was the beloved wife of the late John E. Van Cure, whom she married June 29, 1946 and who died August 22, 1973; dear sister of the late Helen Gillespie and Garnet DeVecchio; the loving mother of Benjamin (Gretchen) Van Cure of Independence, Ohio, and Richard Van Cure of Rochester Hills, Michigan; and dearest grandmother of Ryan and Chad Van Cure, both of Independence.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Warren. Mrs. Van Cure was employed by Sears and retired in 1991 after 15 years.

Services for Ada will be 10:30 AM Saturday, February 26, 2005 at McFarland & Son Funeral Home, 271 North Park Avenue, Warren, Ohio 44481, with Rev. Yesudas Devadan officiating. Interment at Oakwood Cemetery will follow the services. Friends may call at the funeral home 5:00 to 8:00 PM Friday and 9:30 to 10:30 AM Saturday.
