A. Irene Pugh of Bloomfield, passed away on Monday, March 14, 2016 at 7:35 p.m. in Eagle Point Skilled Nursing. She was 88.
She was born in Elizabeth, WV on September 11, 1927, the daughter of the late Cecil S. and Cora R. Leasure Cannon.
Irene was valedictorian of her graduating class from Bristol School Systems.
Mrs. Pugh retired after 27 years as an account clerk from the Ohio Department of Transportation in Columbus, OH.
Her husband, Bobby E. Pugh, whom she married June 30, 1974, passed away on September 16, 2014.
She is survived by 2 daughters Susan Becker-Brown and Wendy Short; a son Gary B. Kingdom; a sister Marquerite Strawman; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Irene was preceded in death by a brother Carl H. Cannon.
At Irene's request, there will be no calling hours or funeral service.
Inurnment will take place in Sager Cemetery.
