Paul J. Pavlich of Niles passed away Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at 5:21 a.m. in Mercy Health – St. Joseph Warren Hospital. He was 70 years old.
Paul was born in Warren on October 2, 1950, the son of the late Anthony “Tony” and Marie Stotler Pavlich.
He was a 1968 graduate of Niles McKinley High School. Following high school, Paul was drafted in the United States Army and proudly served our country in Vietnam.
Mr. Pavlich retired in 1998 after 30 years of employment with General Motors Lordstown Assembly Plant, where he held various positions over his many years there.
Paul loved all types of food and would travel anywhere to find a new place to eat. In the summer you could find Paul on his boat enjoying a sunny day on Berlin Lake. He was very meticulous about his garden. After his hard work, Paul would display his winning produce at the Canfield Fair each year. His greatest accomplishment in his life was becoming a dad to his daughter Heather.
He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Jewell, whom he married in 2003; a daughter, Heather Pavlich and her husband Adam Peterson of Titusville, PA; a sister, Shirley Edgar of Cortland; a brother Butch (Dutch) Swauger of Niles; a sister-in-law Reggie Swauger; Sister-in-Law, Donna (Robert) McCollum, Barbara (Steve) DeBruyn, Tricia Jewel & Curt Hight, and Laura (Chris) Castellano. Numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by a brother, Ralph Pavlich; a brother-in-law Richard Edgar.

Calling hours will be on Friday, March 26, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Wm Nicholas Funeral Home & Cremation Services 614 Warren Ave. Niles, OH 44446. There will also be calling hours one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
A funeral service will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, March 27, 2021 in the funeral home.
Interment will be in Niles City Cemetery.
