Mary J (Frisch) Sawyer

Mary J. Sawyer of Niles, passed away on Friday, April 21, 2017 at 8:26 a.m. in her residence surrounded by her family. She was 77.
Mary was born in Bellevue, OH on November 16, 1939, the daughter of the late Fred and Mary Carlock Frisch.
She was a graduate of Thompson High School. Mrs. Sawyer was a loving wife, mother and homemaker.
Mary was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. She enjoyed crocheting, word search puzzles, and country music. Earlier in life she enjoyed bowling.
She is survived by her husband, Alfred Sawyer, whom she married November 26, 1966. They recently celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary this past November; a son Craig J. Sawyer of Niles; a daughter in law, Rebecca Jo Balside Sawyer of Niles; 2 sisters, Rita Williams of Brookfield and Cathy Yontz of Sandusky; 2 brothers, Fred Frisch of Norwalk, OH, Dean Frisch of Flat Rock, OH; 2 grandchildren, Noah Sawyer and Brittany Balside.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by a son Gary J. Sawyer; a sister, Judy Frisch.
